Education > Abbey Community College, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford

This major new secondary school consisted of the construction of a 600 pupil school. It comprised a major sports hall and all weather playing pitches which are available to the local community. Wide use was made of forticrete blockwork and high quality exposed in-situ concrete columns and beams. The roof finish comprised a décor profile standing seam trocal membrane on curved finn ply base suported by curved structural steel members.
